Detailed Steps

  1. Select the best fitting éclairer nails that match your nail size bed. Lay out the nails in order of application.
  2. Start with clean, dry nails and remove old polish. Gently push back your cuticles using the wooden cuticle stick.
  3. Gently file your nail to create a rough surface for better adhesion.
  4. Wipe your nails thoroughly using the alcohol wipes provided to remove any excess oils on your nail bed. To ensure your éclairer nails adhere and last long this step is crucial.
  5. Evenly apply a small amount of nail glue to your natural nail bed and the back of éclairer nails for extended wear, or for a temporary 1-4 days wear use adhesive tabs that are closest to your nail size.
  6. Starting with your pinky finger and working your way around, align the éclairer nails with your cuticle and apply in a downwards, 45 degree angle. Press firmly for 30 seconds to secure. Ensure that your éclairer nail is aligned with your finger pointing outwards.
  7. Use a nail file to shape and smooth the edges of the éclairer nails. File in one direction for a natural finish.
  8. Repeat steps for all nails on both hands. Avoid soapy water for at least 3 hours after the application to ensure the stronger seal and adhesion.

Detailed Steps

  1. Soak nails in warm soapy water with some cuticle oil (you can substitute this with any oil you like such as olive or caster oil) for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Wiggle your fingers around to ensure the nail glue looses off from your natural nail bed.
  3. Gently peel the éclairer nails starting from the nail edge side using the cuticle stick.
  4. Re-soak your nails and repeat this process until you can easily lift the éclairer nails from your natural nail bed. Do not forcefully remove éclairer nail.
  5. Remove any excess glue or sticky tabs by re-soaking your nails with fresh warm soapy water. For stubborn glue use a cue tip with nail polish remover and gently scrub the excess glue.
